Black Ops GKNOVA6 Zombies

The GKNOVA6 website (owned by Activision) has been updated again and it now features ... Zombies! We already knew a few days ago that Black Ops has a zombie mode, but it's now been officially confirmed thanks to the GKNOVA6 website.

The video below is taken from the GKNOVA6 website and it shows multiple monitors displaying different footage. Zombies and humans can be seen running around and taking each other on. The video itself has a lot of hints that the whole Zombie incident takes places in the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Mark Lamia, Treyarch's studio head, has also confirmed to Edge Magazine that the Zombies in Black Ops have "evolved" to something better.

Treyarch!

So I know some of you are disappointed about Treyarch's Call of duty: World at War, and if I asked some of you guys "are you excited about Black ops?", a decent amount of you guys would say "no because treyarch is bad at making call of duty games, due to world at war." Well recently in an interview, one of the head people in Treyarch stated that the transition from "CoD:WaW to CoD:BO would be like from Call of duty 2, to Modern Warfare 2." Also the Call of duty franchise is expanding and using new and great ideas every year, and we he stated that we would be amazed if we could glance 5 years into the future and saw the call of duty game then.

New info!

There will be no public beta, (only closed activision personel allowed to play the internal beta) as stated by one of the creators in blackops. Also there is more info regarding to the camos and custom red dot sights!

Why I'm excited!

I am super excited because of the many weapons that are going to be in Call of Duty: Black Ops are one of my favorite guns and are from many of my favorite games. For example the Ak74u, the Dragunov, the M14 rifle, and the Skorpion are back from Call of duty 4. Also the L96A1 Sniper (awp), the Galil Rifle, and the Mac 11 sub-machine gun are making a reappearance from the Counterstrike series! (Counter Strike FTW)

Zombies?

So what do you guys think? Its pretty obvious that treyarch is going to put in the successful zombie mini game into black-ops. The many clues that were on the poster that came when you pre-ordered BlackOps were just obvious. Like the phone call one, where you call the number on the poster and a song played similar to the mystery box in World at War. There was also an IP that was on the poster that redirected you to a gamestop website under construction. There's a lot of controversy behind this. Cant wait to find out on 11/9/10!
